update with some pictures. can't say too much about what's going on, but we just got settled into our room and the last team of marines moved out yesterday.

anyways i will say that i am no longer a driving instructor but instead they moved us to weapons. of all type.

No way!! I'll post a picture of our circus tent then our permanent tent. When I was leaving our replacements were moving into the cans!! They tore down our tents for litteraly more parking space lol

the tents weren't bad but it didnt help that it was like 15 degrees outside and 2 of the heaters kept breaking.

instructor. my MOS is motor-t operator but i am certified to teach rifle marksmanship, pistol marksmanship and the full gambit of machine guns. as well as all the vehicles that the USMC uses(which doesn't matter now but w/e).

how cold was Manas when you got there, haha?

when i landed on there it was -09F 1/2 Vis in Freezing Fog. its a good thing all my winter gear was in my checked bags...

i got to Manas on 20 January 2010. I believe the day i landed was one of the coldest of that winter. the day i left (21 Jan) the high was 34F.
