There's lots of nice areas. Best thing to do is take a week and check out the different areas and keep in mind the size of Htown. If possible get something within decent driving distance from work...

I like that area. I stayed there for a few years and liked it.

We have a house for sale between Katy and Cypress.

On I10 west at 59 Diner (next to Home Depot, Fry Rd.), they have a car show every saturday starting at 5, ending at 8.

You are looking in the right places. Definitely take a look on west/north west side of town.

^^^what he said x10. Lookup their webpage.

Houston is LARGE so it really depends on where you would work, or proximity to friends an family. You could drive for an hour on a straight hwy and still be within the Houston Metroplex. Like others have said, there are plenty of nice areas, but that's a matter of opinion. The one good thing about Houston is it's pretty difficult to get lost with our freeway system. Happy hunting and hope to see you at C&C

Yea, I drive 55 miles to work and 55 miles home. That's why we are trying to sell the house and move closer. We need a smaller house and more land. HOA doesn't like my truck and they no way on bringing the 48' trailer home for an evening. Hate paying $100 a month to store the trailer when I could keep it in my backyard.
