how much for a???

I was just wondering what is the going rate for a stock rebuild for a ls1. i am wanting to just get a freshening up on the motor and get rid of some ticking noises. Found this on craigslist,is this a good deal..

Up for sale is a new Rebuilt Ls1 Shortblock which includes:

New Rings

New Bearings (Rod, Main, and Cam)

Refurbished Rods/Pistons

costs $750

Some ticking is normal as long as it's not excessive. Why do you want to rebuild yours?

mileage really and the ticking.. the place is called protree automotive where the motor is
