c6 clutch spring

Mine broke a few weeks ago. i didn't worry about it because it looked like there was 2 springs but after some research its one big one. On corvette forum some say take it out and some say you have to have it.the clutch does feels better without it.

so will it hurt anything leaving it out? its only a $10 part so i don't mind getting it but if it don't hurt anything i want to leave it out.

Its not going to hurt anything. It's just to assist with pushing it in, however most recommend having something there. If you like the firmer feel of the pedal with it gone, replace it with a C5 spring.
