computer geeks need help

so i reformatted my laptop earlier and i was an idot and forgot to save the network settings to a usb. So now iv forgotten my password to my home network and cant connect. How do i retrieve or reset my password?

iv tried google but i believe iv royally fucked myself due to the fact of forgetting my router password also

maybe try reinstalling router software/setup. i think they also have a hard reset button on the back, that may clear presets.

Just reset your router, i think you hold the reset button for like 10 sec or something.
