Ac does not work please help
Ac does not work please help Car sat for 3 yrs not running motor was shot. Fixed the motor and the ac worked for a bit about 1 week then it went then fixed the regulator fuse and there it worked again then quit now it just will not cut on summer is comming Id rater fix it now than later. Compressor is not kicking on. Is there something that I can do to check it or do I just have to take it to the shop?
Use a jumper wire to jump the compressor and see if that works. If not try the low pressure switch. Odds are the freon leaked out and the low pressure switch won't let the compressor kick on.
