so does anyone on here do their own tuning on the side?? cause as much as i'd like to pay a shop to tune her its just not gonna happen... not with having a baby on the way ....but i do need a tune pretty damn bad.willing to pay but not looking to spend an arm and a leg cause the baby is coming. i'd do it myself but i have no wideband and have never used hptuners.

so pretty much i'd need someone that has hptuner's and a wideband...

long tubes
ORY
28" tall tire
pillled for a 125 shot (wet plate)
lid
ported t/b
stock 3.23 gears.


not looking for someone who has never tuned for a bottle. i'd like to keep my motor in 1 piece.

so if you know someone or you yourself can tune the car safely with the mods listed just shoot me a pm on what you'd charge and where your located. im in san antonio and dont care about making a drive.

I have to say, a tune is much cheaper than a motor. Someone doing it on the side may be fine, but if I don't know them and their work personally, I wouldn't want them tuning my car. Too many horror stories out there. I doubt someone would do it on the side enough cheaper than a shop to make it worth your while.

Basically, you are asking us to recommend someone who is NOT a paying sponsor for a tune. That's like giving someone free advertising on this board. I don't see that happening.
