silverado radio question
silverado radio question are all the radio's that come in the 03-07 silverados satelite radio ready? i found this truck at a junk yard that has the radio in it and it's in perfect condition and i would like to get it for my truck but only if it can get satelite radio, and also does anyone know if the 03-07 year model radios just plug and play with the 99-02 silverado's cause mine is a 02. any help would be appreciated. i know that i would have to get the antenna. thanks in advance.
it will not connect to your harness and th eradio is physically bigger you would have to move the ac control head down slightly and get an 03+ instrument cluster bezel to work and besides the radio you would need the digital radio reciever located behind the glove box and the little shark antenna on the roof.
imo too much work to work on your truck just buy and aftermarket reciever with it all ready
