Andrew, we really need to get that price down. I'll spend it, but we can't build support unless it gets down to around 200. I don't mind spending all day at the track. I have 2 1/4 passes in my car with my SC and Alky.

1.81-10.65@136
1.62-10.57@135

I've talked to the head tech guys at HRP, or now RPR for a bit. He has no control. The guys in the east are paying around 180-220 for a track day. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but if we can get that price under or around $200 and still have RPR make money, it's a win/win. I'm sure you have watched all the guys on youtube in the east at Atco, MIR, etc with their single passes running the best ET's on Corvette Forum. They get 20-30 passes a day, where I only have 2 passes and ran 10.5 with a little over 600whp.

Shoot, I know a couple vette techs that would actually come out and support our cars, with jacks, jack stands, and we could have a spare tranny/rear end/axles to swap out in 2 hours if anybody broke. Driver would just pay the cost of parts, and the labor on the spot.

It's just frustrating watching all the guys in the north with their track rentals run crazy fast times, where we don't get to. Also, private track days, they don't kick you out. I now have a cage, but haven't made any passes. Yourself and Mark are **** up a creek without a paddle. It's one and done. Did that twice, and it's not fun.

I need to be in the 1.6 range to run in the 9's. We all need to have a track rental day so the 1 and done isn't a problem.
Make the car legal. If something goes wrong at the speeds you are running, it might be a bad day for all. JMHOP.

Renting the track would be cool. I'm in if you give us a months notice.

Mark, the northern boys also get the benefit of great air, we always see -700 to -1500 all the time up there when we are stuck with + numbers all the time, so of course they will run faster. If we got 10 cars it would be great, but we can't control the cost of the track. As for the weather it is starting to heat up, so we might not be getting the best out of our cars anyway, but I am game just to get some seat time. We can drag Mark, Tony, Mikey and crew, LMR and a few others that would love to test with us.

I agree, Andrew. What happens if we set up a date in November/December, and we get a cold front and big storms on that date? How does it work?

I would say lets get it together, throw in the money, and set a date for November.

Like I mentioned, we sould get a handful of spare parts together in case we do break a tranny/rear end and can swap it out at the track. I think your differential is pretty stout compared to the C6, but anything can go at any time.

I believe he is just upgrading to a dual setup compared to only one nozzle.

Yeah, changing to a dual setup. Screw the ACT clutch. Going with the Mcleod and going to break this sucker in more than what is recommended this time.

I'm sending you a big block old school hot rod with an F1 Procharger to get tuned. He should be contacting you soon. Car made around 1000hp on an engine dyno. Guys name is Randy, and he has been building the car for about 2 years, and just hasnt got around to driving it.

I've only added a few things since my last track outing; I'd like to think that it would be good run.

Sure it was prep or an oil down? What tires/power if you don't mind me asking? Because Sealy isn't any better, that's for sure.
