I am relocating my battery on my 02 Camaro to the spare tire area. Those of you who have done this, where did you take you positive cable to? Did you go to the starter and leave the battery terminal intact or did you cut it off and splice in the new cable there? Or did you do something different?

 

havent done it on my car yet, but from what ive seen most people run a cable from the battery to the stock location and then connect it to the factory cable with a junction block

 

Junction block as in audio junction block?
