Default confused on how many hp i will make.?

To start, I've talked to some people here locally As well as online and I'm getting big gaps on HP gains. So I'm asking everyone and anyone here. How much do you think ill make?

Ls6 intake, torquer v2, lt's 1 3/4, ory, delete cats, delete rear o2's.

The spread is 330 to 450 Hp.

Thanks for any info.

The best way to know the numbers is to have it dynoed. Not suprising that you got a wide range of numbers. Not sure what the specs are on the cam you have. I dynoed at 373 with LT's, ported TB, LS6 intake, pulley, lid and a small cam (221/558/112lsa)

My buddies 02 WS6 has everything you do but he has a BBK Intake manifold and Kooks 1 3/4 and catted y pipe and made 388 rwhp then added some TSP stage 2 LS6 heads and made 442rwhp.

It's all in your tune honestly.

It's a m6. Also for for to add in slp lid and flowpac, with a Tsp tune. No dyno tunes here, also limited experience tuners at that.

01-02 still had 241. 243's are LS6 heads. While 01-02 got the LS6 intake, they didn't get the heads.

Epglspooky,
You're getting a large spread for several reasons. First what you're being told isn't gains, but rwhp. Gains should be like 30-80 hp that you add on to your base line.
Next is base line numbers. There can be a large spread between stock cars. I've seen from high 280's to 318 stock. If a cam genrally adds 80 whp, that could be a spread of 360 to almost 400 whp depending on where the car started.
As stated above, you also have the difference in tunes and A4 vs M6 numbers. Environmental differences will also play a roll.
Finally, you have differences in dyno's and people tend not to differentiate. Different brands read higher or lower than others. Even the same model of dyno may read significantly higher or lower from shop to shop in the same area. You'll also get guys that use higher STD numbers vs. a lower SAE number
So as stated before, to really know your gain need to dyno before and after the cam change. There are too many variables to make an accurate prediction, so you get a large spread based on what others have seen.

I see what you are saying. Guess I was really asking what my HP would be from what I am doing. Average wise. Thanks for all the input. Now I just need to finish it.

We all talk rwhp on here. Some of your input may have been fwhp(fly-wheel), which would account for the spread. I would guess 385rwhp, which would be around 440fwhp when factoring in a 12% drivetrain loss. Hope that helps.

I made 440/400 with a TV2 cam, 1 3/4 Pacesetters, TSP TDs, slp lid, LS6 intake, and stock unported 243s.

i dont know about el paso,
but if you put down 380 on a one dyno in houston,
i could tel you of another one that would show you 360 and another that would show you 400.

but your car wouldnt be any faster or slower after using each dyno.
