Default hog hunting anyone?

Anyone know of some good places to go hunting or has a lot of land where me and my buddies can shoot a couple rounds off the regular indoor range is getting boring.

Guys I worked with in south Texas went pretty regularly. They were really wary of taking people that had never been.

You need to get a residents hunting license first off. Next is the the land. Bad thing about Texas, 9 of 10 times it belongs to someone. Go ask before pulling the trigger.

I would be leary about taking someone as well. Its very dangerous. I know some people like to drink and hunt, but for the most part I don't mix the two. And a .40 cal handgun wont cut it unless you trap them and shoot them in the head. I shoot em with either my ak, or 30 06 from a distance in a stand or out the back of the truck.

When I go, I use either my sks or m4. A cheap way to hunt is get a shotgun, dead dog choke with double odd 7 shot. I still use my shotgun, but requires you to be at the very least 60 yards for pigs.

Sorry, can't edit on phone. But no more than 60 yards. Not least.

Dont get caught without it by a game warden... cost me (and 2 other friends) $125.
