My gf and i are wanting to go for a few days to unwind before school.

Whats it like right now?

We wanted to take our dogs, are they allowed on the beaches, and is camping out allowed?

Anyone else know?

I was just there this past weekend. It was dead out on Beach Access 5 and 6, which may be a good thing so it won't be too crowded. Water was nice and clear, and no seaweed on surf. Threw out some mullet and caught a 24'' Red as well!

Hotel rates are starting to go down as well. I'd recommend going

Cool thanks for all the info guys, and i wouldn't let them off the leash either way. Plan on going for a few days starting Tuesday so hopefully it'll be even less crowded since its during the week.

They just let us camp out. The fee was about 15$ to get in with a refundable 8$ if you take back the trash bags they give you with your trash in them. Not exact on the numbers but you get the idea it was less then 20. Also if you need to go get something like breakfast tacos like i did, if your back before 8am you dont have to pay to get back in. They also have trucks that drive up and down selling bags of ice and other stuff. Only on the first day did they play annoying music repeatedly and it was one of two songs the whole time. The other two days they didnt really play any music.

Sounds like fun...

So they charge you for leaving and coming back??? So I guess leaving to have a nice dinner or something is out or you have to pay to get back in?
