Default Anyone hiring?

So I thought I had another job lined up when I put in my two weeks notice at my job, but turns out the job I thought I had fizzled away and they no longer needed someone. Well by that time current job had someone waiting to replace me and we were all actually bummed that I had to go, but I felt it was my time. I'm 19 and am/was a server (tomorrow is my last day) and I got very tired of making my money based on how much food someone felt like ordering and dealing with people who would sit at the tables all night long after they were done and not be able to do anything about it and watch for hours as I only made $2.13/hr since my tables couldn't be sat. Basically, I'm not so sure the restaurant industry is for me, although my bosses said I had the best personality at my tables they had ever seen.

Anyone know of any jobs that are open around Fort Worth? The closer the better. I tried to contact Txhotboi about the ATK engines sales job but I guess he never got the email or PM, or job is filled Anything above minimum wage is preferred, I'm too hard of a worker for $7.25, and I can make a lot more than that per hour in another restaurant, even with small tabs and people taking up my tables. Appreciate it guys!

Oh! And unfortunately I won't be in school this semester and I'm really upset about that, but that means I have completely open availability. I won't be in state from Thursday to Monday this week, but after that I'm completely free and open. Thank you!

...I was going to say serving. I make decent money doing it and its an easy job. I was making the same amount cutting grass working 40-45 hours before this. Much harder work and working outside dealing with weather blows *****.

Works out I usually make between 15-17$ and hour... I work around 35 hours/week.

It isn't something I want to make a career out of... But it gets the bills paid and a little more right now.

Good luck.

It all depends on the position I guess. And if you like 60+ hour work weeks. Let me specify.. Don't hire on as a premise tech for Att. Most other positions are pretty decent.

If you aren't scared to get your nails dirty amd sweat your *** off, check out some large construction companies that specialize in pipeline. Right now is a good time to get in and you can learn a good trade.

Check out Strike Construction for one

Most land based companies require a CDL and will get you one. Mainly cause equipment has to delivered for work. Sanjel is a Canadian based company moving in to work the Eagle Ford shale. Once with a company. Most will assist in engineering programs. It isn't a easy road. But its worth it. I started with Halliburton/ Boots & Coots in well intervention - well control. Not as much work in the Barnett shale (DFW). Rigzone is a popular site to start looking. Warrior, formerly Bobcat, in Decatur is always looking for people for snubbing and coil tubing.
