said tuner is very knowledgeable. i "think" his reasoning is based on the fact he doesn't feel comfortable handing over a car to a customer based on the fact that their fuel of choice has variances in it. Most customers are those that just like to hammer on a car and not necessarily take the proper steps to ensure their gas is consistent.

again, assuming.

where do you order from? i will probably order a drum of C16 and keep it in the garage.

I run almost 14:1 with e85 in my ls7. Love it. Still get 17ish MPG.

Corn fuel is cheaper, but if I’ve spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on my car, I’m not going to penny pinch on some g’damn gas.

That’s just me. Do what you want
It's more then 104 octane JP, but if you're on kill I wouldn't run it in your car. But there are plenty of cars that run that stuff and it works good. JohnC's cobra with the HPP twin kit made over 1100rwhp on it at 25lbs... The stuff is good and better then pump gas for sure, but for a race type car on kill all the time I would use race fuel...

It's not that I need it on kill I really just want the motor to be safe when beating on it. If I can get it safe on 93 without losing a ton of power I'll be happy. I have av gas close to me as well but have gotten the same answers as the corn.

I run E85 in my car and its 10:1 compression with a Turbo and it ran great with it. I was running 17-18lbs of boost limited because of fuel injectors. You will make more power with it over 93 and it is a lot safer. I test my fuel and it has always been 85-88% Ethanol. Try it if you don't like it go back no harm from trying though.

I would run it even on kill all the time. I have ran it in boosted stangs at 10:1 with 23lbs. My new motor is flattops. So 11:1 with around 30lbs and no inteecooler. I haven't found a way to melt someone or burn it out on e85 yet.

If you have enough injector and fuel supply I would give it a try. You have a E85 station near your house.
I have limited experience with E85 which leads me to not like it as much as racefuel.

Would you rather use e85 or a mix of av fuel and 93? I'm starting to lean that way. You said you had something to share with me via email.

AV gas is a very dirty fuel. What injectors and fuel pump do you have?

Using the marine a1000 and 60lb injectors set at 45psi right now. By dirty do you mean lead content?

If you turn the fp up to 60lbs you should have enough injector and pump for e85.
Dirty meaning full of trash.
