Unacceptable outing from Holland - no control on his fastball and walked 2 of the 3 runs. Feldman saved the game for us and Ogando, Feliz and Adams closed it out until Cruz could send the Tigers back to Detroit 0-2. Great game, and how playoff baseball should be, but I expect far greater from the Derstachio

Holland will recover, he didn't have control from the beginning, and finally paid for it. Its forgotten now, add a win the the column.

Nice to see what the rangers are doing!
Cool good info. The more important thing is that they won it in fashion today. 7-3 looks a whole lot better than 3-2 scores. Just knowing their up 2 wins is awesome.

Everyone in the rotation is pretty stout except one guy I think they should have gotten rid of........Darren Oliver.......He was less than avg last year in the post season and he is going to be the same this year. Can't believe we didnt close it out in the 9th with the bases loaded but Im glad we went 2-0 at home.

Now we just need Mitch Moreland to get out of his slump, I wanted to bash my head into a wall when he hit that inning-ending DP.

Moreland got benched - we need Young to get out of his slump

Also, if Vanover is behind the plate for another ALCS game, I might put my remote through the wall... his strike zone was erratic at best and biased at worst. He was giving strikes to Verlander a good 6" off the plate but Feldman was getting pitches on the tip called *****.

When Nelly smashed that pitch foul, I had a feeling he was about to yank one. Sure enough he did, that was freakin awesome. I think Nelly is finally coming around.

I honestly thought Cruz was going to strike out after that towering foul ball. but the end result was shivering. Great Series thus far. I am a fan of Jim Leyland because he sticks up for what he believes in. But this is looking like Ranger's series to loose. I've been wanting a 2006 Series rematch Kenny Rogers tar on hand incident clearly jinxed (reminded me of Major League lol) the team but Rangers vs Brewers will work.
