Car Insurance question What type of insurance policy do yall run on your cars if you seldom ever drive it (3-4k miles/year)?
I have a H/C/I 98 TA that hardly ever leaves my driveway. I know in TX its mandatory and a damn good idea to have insurance.
For the last few years, I was using Milemeter insurance which was an insurance company that allowed you to buy insurance "by the mile". This worked out great! I'd just buy insurance as needed. This completely avoided paying a monthly premium while my car just sits in the friccin garage.
Recently, they drastically increased their rates and raised the minimum mileage able to be purchased to an amount that doesnt work for me.
