Att internet @ my apt, can u hack it?

Default Att internet @ my apt, can u hack it?

Ok just moved into a new apt(building an awesome house in the country)
att wants to charge me 500 just to set up my high speed internet and its boring at home w/o ps network and netflix. Att is the only option besides clear but **** them.

There is hook ups(cable+phone lines) in the apt and in my closet there is this att box where im guessing the cable /internet was run by...its got a bunch of wires and electrical thingamajiggers ive never seen,
they cut the wires but i cant tell what goes where...does anyone work for att or have a hook up i can call...any help let me kno

I think you would have a better chance of trying to hack into someones wireless router!

Even if you get it hooked up, more than likely you won't have an IP assigned to you. Most of that stuff is static to keep people from doing what you're trying to do.

I have a...friend... that needs to help his...friends... move from Mexico.

Anyone got a LARGE covered trailer?? Got quite a bit of...luggage.

You really should try a large grocery truck to move that much luggage way cheaper than a uhaul plus everything will fit. You could even fit a couple of stowaways in it to help pay for your gas on the trip back. Just don't park it on the side of the road in summer in texas heat they get kinda cranky bout that nowadays.

That's what a google search tells me to do but I really don't want to slow my neighbors speed down..I pick up like Fifty wirelesssignals,all att aka the devil, but they are all wep key protected. I know two guys that can do time warner , but like I stated att is my only option and I'm not paying those guys two eighty deposit and three hundo setup

Make friends with said neighbor and get the wep key. Or just get wireless Internet aka 3g
