Who gives a **** how much money JJ makes? That doesn't make them popular across the country, that just means that Cowboys fans spend more on jerseys and hats. The Yankees make the most money in baseball, that also means they are one of the most hated teams by the rest of the country.

He makes more off merchandise and ticket sales because his team is popular, there is a higher demand for his team than others therefore the Cowboys are still the most popular team.
If they continue with the way they've been playing I don't doubt they will lose that title within the next few years though.

Need another example? Texas A&M and University of Texas both sell a ****-ton of merchandise too.
