Default few runs in my ss

So we finaly got my car up n running n tested it while tuning it against my buddys cammed silverado. My car is cammed/stalled auto with bolt ons. Id like to say im very satisfied with the LG g5x2 cam. I kno i need some stickier tires lol.
1st run was a 30roll but let go cause i went sideways
2nd run was a 30 roll without downshifting
3rd was a 60 roll straight off of drive.
Still has a couple of bugs to get worked on but its getting there. 100% home built+tuning.

Car looks good, next time try a 45 roll out of second gear. You should pull a truck a lot harder than that

I agree, except for the 3rd pull that looked decent, but would have expected a little harder roll out from the hit.

45-50 is a great 2nd gear roll speed for an auto. 25-30 in first if you have real good tires, and around 70 for a 3rd gear roll. Of course that all depends on what gears you have.

By the way, what kind of wheels are those, I like em. Have a pic?

That is a 5.3 truck but it runs damn good. Takes on most bolt on cars n cammed 6.0 singlecabs. Especialy when my *** is just sitting there spinning those 315s like if they were on water. The car still isnt 100% like i stated. It was just some fun runs to see the difference the cam made since we used to be neck to neck before my cam swap.

If you used to be side by side then that 3rd pull shows that the cam made a huge difference.

Good point!

Carlos, what all is done to the truck? My best friend has a super clean 03 RCSB with a 5.3 and I have a 228R at the house that would go great in it if I don't put it in my car.

The truck has some ***** for sure he used to hit 14.2 all dayy in summer heat with a tune and k&n kit. Everything done to it was done at home also by us including tuning. Crazy i used to go by preston all the time since my sis in law lives infront of rayburn. Then i worked at shell in deer park for 10 months and worked at the shell colex on bearl for 2 months lol. And my gf lives off shaver.

Acctualy he has that tsp 228 cam on a 112 lsa. Truck has nasty low end torque. His previous cam was a small barely noticeable cam i think it was like a .214, .216 on a 114 lsa n he squeezed out 305 hp on the dyno without headers and a converter. I kno my car doesnt surprise yall but it surprised the **** out of me. Im sure i can hit a high 11 cause bone stock id hit 13.1s all day. All i need is some sticky tires and get my tune 100% on. She spins into 3rd gear before it would only spin 1st gear n partial 2nd

I got a set of mickeys you can borrow, the car should be bottom 12's/High 11's around 113 to 116.

About time you modded it
