Just some of the rules I can think of when last time I went to SAR:

- Battery has to be bolted down securely.
- If battery is re-located, then it has to have a cut-off switch.
- Helmet for cars 13.99 or faster.
- For cars 11.99 and faster a 6 point cage is needed.
- 10.99 or faster must have an 8 point cage
- 145+ trapping cars need a chute.
- if you have slicks a drive shaft loop is required
- Can't remember the exact rule, but it deals with the wheel studs - look it up.
- SFI 3.2A/1 jacket if the car runs 10.00 to 11.99

That's some of the basic rules... SAR is real strict, and they'll kick you out if you don't adhere to the safety rules. Just call them.

SAR will let you run 11.50 without a cage. I believe you are refering to 3 inch wheel studs.

If it were me, I would find a front subframe from a stock nova and put under the front. The stock front suspensions are pretty decent for what they are.
