Default Stand alone fuel cell

Im looking into a stand alone system for my c6 does anyone have any thoughts on the issue. And are they worth it. Can you get more power with one vs pulling off the stock fuel rails?

What are your fuel mods and how much more do you need to feed? Won't make a difference if your setup can keep up with your fuel requirements. Just extra weight and more parts to fail if you don't NEED IT.

i get mine before the fuel rail. i would not go over a 150 on the stock fuel system. with a stand alone you can spray more plus use c16. less timing will need to be pulled

Damn, I just sold a new 1gal aluminum RCI a few days ago. They're good if you want to run a higher octane fuel for when you're spraying it.

Right now its just a cam car with a 150 shot but wanted to bump it up a little. But didn't know if getting and stand alone with race gas was worth it.

So you wouldn't have to pull as much timing in turns more power?

So hands down stand alone is the way to go?

The standalone costs up front...but it beats adding high dollar race fuel to pump gas in the fuel tank. I had a standalone fuel cell in my LT1 car...1 gal of race gas goes a looooong ways (1/8th mi at a time) opposed to dumping 3 gallons in the fuel tank everytime you go racing. If you run nitrous...its a must in my mind. I ran an HSW system, some of the nicest setups on the market.

500 shots sounds good then the car should make 567 or so.
