Just wondering...I know quite a few who would be into a 1/8 mile setup...The 1/4 is just not as fun and 1/8 mile is more competative IMO...not to mention its much easier on the parts...

 

You can run 1/8 mile anytime you want. In competition, especially for the slower cars, 1/4 mile is preferred to give the racer the best chance at winning and giving the crowd the best bang for the buck. I personally never liked 1/8 mile passes.
