Do you actually get a good deal on the cars? I wanted to pick up a salvage F250 and the three I bid on went up to like $15,000.. About $3500 more than a non salvage F250 of the same year. One salvage 06 went for like $18,000 with 150k, I sold my 04 with 140k for $10,000... I just think this sites a scam. I tried to bid on a couple trans am's also and they both ran up to like $6,000 with over 100k miles. It's stupid.

I've seen some cars "JMAC" bought for a hell of a deal and some he might have paid a little over for but he hasn't lost anything YET!! lol

I've been researching this Copart thing for a little while now and was wondering if anybody here has any first hand experience about their processes, fees etc. I've registered on their site, but haven't really found any exact info as to what it will cost in the end to buy a car.
If I was to win a car for, say, $1000, how much more are they tacking on top of that? I know you need to pay a deposit and all that stuff, but what all other fees are there after the sale? Is the $1000 car going to become a $1500 car? Or more? Maybe less...?

TexFinn-I bought a 99 Rollover T/A in El Paso for 1750$ didnt know the bid placed is what you paid - thought I would be high bidder till someone pushed it over that- live and learn. they did have fees and delivery charges - werent too bad - the yard did nothing to protect the leather seats
