My friend got a set of those for his SS. He's had them on for about a year with no problems. They also went on with no issues. I've read it's hit or miss, though.

^^^this. With all the reputable sponsors on here who have spent countless hours and resources testing their headers specifically for Fbodies, people still run to ebay and take their chances

I think what he means is as with anything made on the cheap there's going to be inconsistencies. Maybe a bend is off causing fitmentt issues or maybe subpar welds.

Mine were trash. Pacesetters are probably as cheap as you want to go.

OP, I'd recommend saving a bit more and getting name brand headers. When my Hookers rusted out, I decided to get stainless. I saw those ebay headers, but didn't want to take the chance of something not matching up. I went the expensive route and got Kooks. You can get a set of pacesetters for not much more than those ebay ones.

For the cost,it was worth it to me.
$220 to my door.
I replaced motor mounts while I was at it.
1 full day of messing around.
half a day(if you stayed on it)
Where you located?

no you don't have to pull the motor jack the car up 2 and half maybe 3 feet and install from underneath at least thats what i did with my pacesetters and honestly im a welder and fabricator for a company called alloy engineering and my brother works for stainless works i would not trust ebay headers you never know what your gonna get save yourself the time and headache and buy from a reputable company but thats just my opinion

If you claim to have a 10s car.
This task should be easy for you.

If you have access to a lift, it makes this job 1000x easier. Oh, and be sure to replace your header gaskets and bolts. I knew a few people who didn't and it was not good.

I reused my factory exhaust manifold gaskets.....and bolts.
Just apply a liberal amount of anti seize to the manifold bolts.

I've just seen too many people screw up their motors doing that. Then again, they also had the composite gaskets. You might be able to reuse the GM metal ones.

My pacesetters came with new bolts and gaskets... just get pacesetters if you want a budget unit
