Default From EFI Live to handheld programmer???

Not LSX but diesel. My truck is currently tuned with EFI Live with what I consider a fairly medium tune. If I were to switch to a handheld tuner, would I be able to swap back to my current tune if I didn't like the tuner? I am assuming that my EFI Live would essentially be the "Stock" tune that tue tuner would store, is this true?

Also, any benefits or down sides from one over the other?

Randy, I think it just swaps out what is on there, but I'd call the hand-held programmer's company and ask them.

Handheld tuner should copy whatever you currently have. If you go back it will go back to the "stock tune" your truck had before it was introduced to the handheld.
