No Texans Thread This Year?
The Broncos, Ravens, Packers, and Patriots later down the schedule will definitely show us if they are ready to go. They have all the pieces they need to beat these teams.

What I was getting at was a Texans fan who knows the team, their stats, capabilties, plays, defensive schemes, doesn't get too excited over beating scrub teams, etc. would not be nervous to face the teams I listed.
I expect Sunday's game to be a close one. After Monday night's game, I'm sure Wade Phillips is doing some master planning to attack and contain Manning. We have to make him hurry up and work to collapse the pocket. When he was hurried Monday, things didn't go well. I hadn't watched any of his performances this year before Monday night. I was very surprised to see his passes wobbling without the usual velocity. I just hope he's not able to shake the rust off in a matter of 6 days.
One thing I did not see in our game last Sunday was the old reliable bootleg. I'd like to see it 2 or 3 times this week. One thing Kubiak can't do is put it in neutral if we have a decent lead at halftime. Manning can and will come back on you if you do this. Seal the deal and burry them if you can.
Congrats to JJ Watt. He's this week's AFC Defensive Player of the Week
