Awful coached game for the Texans, luckily Lions coach fucked up that review flag procedure.
Again Kubiak is saved at the end of the day by Wade's defense finally buckling down.

It doesn't get any better than going for a 3 run plays straight, including on 3rd and 15, lose yardage, and then go for a missed 53 yrd field goal. As always, Kubiak plays not to lose instead of playing to win and it was on full display yesterday.
The quality of the win is just as important. Struggling against Jacksonville with a back up QB who manhandled our defense doesn't inspire much confidence.
Especially in the NFL. You gotta take it when it comes.

Last 2 games have been hard to watch.
Coming back from to deficits to OT to barely scraping by is not inspiring, i agree.
It seems like the offense was asleep most of the game. Way too many 3-outs.
Defense also played weak. jj looked like he was the only one out there trying for most of the game. He got double and even triple teamed a few times. The other line men didnt really take advantage of all the attention watt was getting.
Even then, he got sacks and tipped *****. Never saw him give up. He was pissed when he was arguing with that.coach

I like how people are whining about 1 call. Who's to say the Texans don't march right down the field and score 7 anyway if Forsett is ruled down?
The refs made a bad call. The bigger mistake was made by Schwartz. That dumb hot head screwed himself and his team over. But, like I said above, the Texans could and probably would have drove down the field and scored anyway.
Gary Kubiak's situational play calling is absolutely horrendous and predictable at that. Bad f'ing combination.
3rd and 12-20...draw play. (every damn week)
3rd and 7...throw 4-6. (every damn week)
3rd and 10...throw 7-8. (every damn week)
1 minute and 50 seconds left in the half (down by 7) with 3 time outs to use? Run the ******* clock out and don't take andvantage of back to back posessions. Classic puss burger Kubiak.

I agree that some of kubiaks calls leave you scratching your head, I was ready to pull the tv off the wall on the 3 straight runs in OT. BUT, his play calls did put 34 points on the board and got us the W. On the fg winning drive when andre caught the ball @ the 25ish yard line he could have ran a few more times which is what I expected, but he threw the ball again and got us in position for a chip shot. IMO his playcalling has pretty stellar this year, it's not just "hey go out there and throw the ball around", field position, momentum, opposing defense, time left etc etc all has to be considered. 10-1 you can't argue with that.
Our defense is the bigger concern for me, I think fatigue has as much to do with it as anything these past few weeks. I think we will be fine after a much needed rest. The jags and lions have decent defenses and our offenses have had to put the points on the board to win the past 2 games, btw those are all kubiaks offensive calls.
