House Hunting
I live in The Woodlands. It takes me an hour to Med Center in non-rush hour traffic. 1.5 hours in rush hour. And getting worse monthly
What are you needs today, next year, 5 years from now, 10 years from now? If you have kids you gotta look into the schools, sexual predators, crime rates, etc. Those also play a strong role in property values. If you want a nice home with nice things you'll still want to see crime rates, flood maps, and school rankings.
Nicer schools usually means less dumbasses in the area (burger flippers, grocery stores, bank tellers, store managers, etc.) so that should mean less headaches across the board. Kinda like HISD territory vs Sugarland or Pearland areas.
That said, why are you considering leaving the area you're in now?
