Silverado SS
Silverado SS what are yall's opinions or experience with the Silverado SS AWD trucks? im not looking to race it, just want a nice truck to cruise around in for a DD. my current DD is a '12 Z71 and i'd rather drop my payment so i can continue work on my '00 Camaro SS.

Great trucks but they have the same problem as 4th gen camaros tryin to find one that has not been whored out and beat on like a red headed step child is getting harder and harder. It's just a 4wd 6.0 chevy pu with a denali transfer case.

I have an 04. I bought it from a guy i work with at 100k miles. had the trans rebuilt after 2 weeks of owning it. Other than that i like the truck. it doesn't get good fuel mileage, but with a cam, 3k circle d converter and shift kit i didn't expect it to.
What he said. I was looking for one about a month ago and had a hard time finding one that wasn't already dropped or ragged out. Have you tried looking into the vho Silverado? About the same except no cladding, bumper covers, and the the awd
I bought one new back in 03 but later traded it in for a crew cab after having kids. I loved the truck. It did get about 12 mpg so that sucks. Wish I still had it. Good luck finding one.
