Yes, this car has factory rear end/halfshafts.


This car is running AR 2in headers with no cats and factory GM Mufflers. When closed, the car sounds and drives like stock. Once you open the baffles it gets loud real quick!



We set this car up to show how Quick and Fast our Heads/Cam package would run at the track. It went a 10.6 @127mph naturally aspirated. The torque converter was built for motor only. We added the gas to be the first in the 9s. With the correct Nitrous converter(which we are building this week), the car is going to go WELL into the 9s!

Not sure if they'll fit. That's one of the reason we are running the. Stock wheels. There's a tie rod in the way of putting a smaller rim on. I know some guys are running the 18inch c5 wheels but nobody's tried a 17in yet.

Sounds like my Busa I had when I sprayed it the air shifter kills timing to shift.

To me that sounded like a weedeater... not a cammed LS motor.(LT)

Seen a ton of 97-now vettes with cam and exhaust, they all sound pretty close and this C7 sounds like they do. I like it. The LT is. It a generation apart. It is an evolved LS with direct port. Still a 6 bolt and all that. Just changed enough to prevent things from swapping out. For some reason GM felt they needed to reinvent the wheel when they could have just changed the top end of the gen IV. Although I'm sure there are things I'm not aware of that might have needed them to redesign the existing 6 bolt block to another 6 bolt block.

I'm almost leaning towards something mechanical like the valves. It's just too abrupt to be anything else.
I am building another kit to ship to a shop in Texas that I've been working with on this issue. They already have a cam and a VVT limiter in their car.
This way they can work on it at their end as well.

While at the SEMA show, I found out that Comp Cams has cams with 3, 4 and 5 lobes for the fuel pump that can deliver 30%, 45% or 74% more fuel than the stock one. I have a call in to my sales rep at Comp to see how fast I might get one.
I also verified that this is the first supercharged C7 that has actually been driven. Edelbrock just got their car running last Friday and rolled it right onto the trailer. I know the Edelbrock guys and we sort of agreed to help each other with the tuning. If I get it figured out, I'll let them know and vice versa.
Magnusons car may or may not even run. They were kind of sketchy about saying anything. Someone who wasn't supposed to say anything alluded to the fact that it did not run, as far as she knew.
LPE has had theirs on the dyno but are using port injectors and a stand alone controller.
I know this has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, but I'm pretty proud that we actually beat the big boys to it. We got this done in 6 days from the day we started it. Other than the actual welding of tubing, I made everything myself and have the scars to prove it. I was driving it back and forth to work an hour after we fired it up. Other than this glitch, it works perfectly. No belt issues etc.
98% of you all on this Forum are way smarter than I am when it comes to anything computer related. This is the first time I haven't felt like a dumbass on here. :-)

This!!

Sounds normal at idle but man its funky at WOT.

Hauling *** tho!

Thought it sounded like that due to it blowing through the converter on the nitrous pass but nope sounded the same on the NA pass.

Wonder what it would sound like with a catback.

For the love of God that thing sounds BEATSLY! Weird but I like it.

Edit: How do you like your MT? How long do they last? Needing new tires, and have 19's also, and want something that hooks well but that can last longer than 3,000 miles.
