Help ls6 clutch not disingaging

Default Help ls6 clutch not disingaging

Had my t56 transmissions re built by TDP I installed a new ls6 clutch and slave myself... I have a stiff clutch pedal but the car is not engaging and disingaging when turned on. Would I need an adjustable master!? I took it to a shop after I gave up in it and they can't find the problem. Again my car is a 98 camaro. I'm hopping a master would fix the problem? Anyone have issues upgrading to the ls6 clutch?? These are the part numbers to the clutch C6LS7CLUTCHKI

Did you bleed the slave? Its suppose to be self bleeding from just pumping the clutch pedal. Sometimes it needs a little help.

wait a sec there are pieces missing. you say you put in an ls6 clutch but the part numbers are ls7 clutch parts. are you using a stock ls1 flywheel?

nvm just saw that you have the right flywheel and clutch kit. what slave did you use? fbody or gto slave?

It is an ls7 clutch.. I replaced the slave from advanced auto.
I advised te mechanic I was still pulling out air with the mity vac. He said I had a stiff pedal. I honestly think he needs to make sure it's bleed right. How could I still be pulling air out. I did not bench bleed the slave but did pump 1xxxxxx times and used the mity vac for about a week straight

DISCLAIMER: I know nothing about the topic..

Could it be that air is getting into the system somewhere?

if you have time, remove the master and bench bleed it.

if not, bleed it on the car with someone under it cracking open/closed the slave and someone pumping the clutch pedal.

I had a similar issue when I installed a monster clutch, clutch wasn’t disengaging causing difficulty getting the car into gear while on, especially reverse. I tried to bleed bleed and bleed some more, even replaced the mc and slave again.

My fix: I pulled the trans and looked at the plate fingers, they were uneven due to not properly torquing them down. I torque'd them down, reinstalled the trans and its been working properly ever since

Is the hydraulic line from the master cylinder to the trans connected in all the way?

If Jason still owns TDP, I would call him. He did a fantastic job with my 99 TA hydraulics and clutch issues.
