I guess we should only buy from companies who work top fuel heads then right? Since everything below that is going to be inferior? Not everyone has thousands of dollars to spend on race cars. Anyways I'm not going to get further involved in your vendetta against Lloyd.

Weird Frankenstein quoted me $1600 for ported 243s. What exactly did this $5,500 consist of?

$5,500...that sounds like a price for heads from MTI in 1999.

I have zero reasons to lie about it, I called and who I spoke to mention for what in was looking for I was looking at an average of $5,500 and long waiting period. I don't lie and I'm not full of ****. I don't bring negativity to this forum. Lol sorry I don't have the budget to sport 5500 heads

Sounds like you talked to the wrong person, I would never put $5,500 into stock heads.

Phone I called was 817-556-2434, I have a set of bare 243s no springs no valves straight bare. I want to build a nitrous setup for an LS-1. I told him I would supply the strings, valve locks and retainers. He then said he has to use his own and told me I was looking @ $5,500 give or take and a 5 month waiting list. If you can give me someone else to ask for I will call them again but I heard clearly him say $5,500

That's funny because the TFS heads he CNC ports don't cost that much, and that includes the castings and the port work.

Only way I could see $5500 on some 243's would be if you were trying to run stock eliminator/super stock or something.
