Default E85 in clear lake!
Have never found this stuff around here and the new Valero on NASA RD 1 has e85 available, just thought I'd let everyone know.

Valero has decent E85, will probably test @ E75/80 though...that has been my experience with the Valero stations by me that carry it.

The Kroger on 96 has been having it since they opened back in 2011 I believe

always have to drive to friendswood or dickinson to get e85.

where is this? nasa rd 1 and what?

Pretty much every gas station off of 96 has E85

Little off topic...

How many of yall are running this in you LS cars? I have been using E85 in my 2014 Mustang GT track pack, an E85 tune and FRPP 47lb injectors was all that I needed. I would really like to start using it in the F-body. Are there any local tuners in the area with E85 experience?

I am guessing will need to upgrade fuel pump and injectors, currently have Walbro 225 in tank and 36lb injectors...

Cam only i am running out of fuel with a 255 and 42lb injectors. I am at 109% duty cycle. At 5500rpms its at 100%. Time for some 55/60lb...

I wish more E85 stations would open up in Houston proper. There's only 1 station 7 miles from me. But the E85 from Kroger is good, I haven't had any injector issues and it consistently tests around 82% ethanol.

Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be anything special running E85, however, a Walbro 255 is not E85 rated. You will need the Walbro 450 for that. Bigger fuel injectors and change stoich to 10:1 (I believe that's the hard limit for the PCM).

I know e85 really helps boosted motors but how much does it really help on na motors?

I have run e85 in all my ls cars.

Big motor 427, 429, stuff ls7 top end. Some nitrous stuff.

Gas mileage is awful.

9mpg average in my camaro when I had it.

More like 15 in my Vettes.

I get around 11-12 city, 13-14 hwy on E85 in the mudstain....
