Update on San Antonio Raceway
IMO if you spin you need to spend some money on tires and suspension, there are obvious exceptions to this rule but a lot of street tired guys bitched about poor prep. **** I watched them drag the track, vht it, and people still bitched right after about poor prep,

Or maybe they just didn't give a **** on test and tune nights.
And on the track prep I agree. I watched guys chirp and spin all the time while we hooked fine with over 1000hp launching at 4k plus. A lot of it is the setup of the car and proper tires. If your not setup for it then no amount of dragging and vht is going to help. I cant wait to run my S10 to see how it runs and what the weight is.

As for the track, I know they had 700 cars easy. Getting in was easy and no traffic delays at about 4:30. Got in the lanes at 5 made a pass, lines right back up and made another one at 9. So 2 passes in 4 hours with no pit time, just sat in line. We loaded and left. I am going to wait for the big hype to calm down and go again after some engine work.
