The prep was always fine for me. Most people who bitch about prep are out there in a 6 speed street tired car launching at 5k or better.
IMO if you spin you need to spend some money on tires and suspension, there are obvious exceptions to this rule but a lot of street tired guys bitched about poor prep. **** I watched them drag the track, vht it, and people still bitched right after about poor prep,

Maybe they had good prep in the past, but in the last year it was terrible. Whenever I was there, ALL the cars had trouble hooking, whether it was the 9 second cobra on slicks and dialed in suspension, the drag cars, or the regular guy on street tires.
Or maybe they just didn't give a **** on test and tune nights.

the opening night may be in July. Im trying to find an exact date.

And on the track prep I agree. I watched guys chirp and spin all the time while we hooked fine with over 1000hp launching at 4k plus. A lot of it is the setup of the car and proper tires. If your not setup for it then no amount of dragging and vht is going to help. I cant wait to run my S10 to see how it runs and what the weight is.

Not saying it is anyone in here but every track I have ever raced at had cry babies who's **** didn't hook. I have pictures of my 1990 Camaro in a foot tall wheel stand leaving against the converter on the spray with a small tire and absolutely stock suspension other than adjustable rear shocks. That same night I heard crying from some big tire cars.

Yep, its all in the setup. I am going to bet that the new owner accepts the advise of those who actually know about drag racing and it makes everything go better and in the end, brings in more cars.

Cool but they need to get there own web page and update it often and thoroughly. Some folks don't do noseybook. Sealy has a shitty website and don't even update their phone machine. That place seems to be going to hell in a hand basket.

Track was slammed packed tonight. Waited for an hour and half to get in so I left. Heard cars were still coming in.

Well I made it out there and made a couple of hits. Really disappointed in how the truck ran. I know its stock, but its down on power.

As for the track, I know they had 700 cars easy. Getting in was easy and no traffic delays at about 4:30. Got in the lanes at 5 made a pass, lines right back up and made another one at 9. So 2 passes in 4 hours with no pit time, just sat in line. We loaded and left. I am going to wait for the big hype to calm down and go again after some engine work.

The best part of my passes were the burnouts LOL. I don't have a line lock yet and just roll out with my dragster burnout. First time to the line the water box guy kept waving me forward to get out of the dip. He didn't know my plan. Worked out ok. My son said it sounded awesome. All I know is I left it in drive and decked it. I know it was screaming and was hitting the limiter in the ecm. I figured if it blew up it would force my new build.

13.69 at 102 on first pass. Slower 2nd pass. Calculating with the weight its only making 280hp. If it made 325 hp which is stock it should run 12.30 or so.
