Default Scuzzy looking wiring harness

Howdy from S.A.
I am in the middle of laying out the engine compartment harness but it is quite dirty from all the South Texas dust and dirt. Question: How could I clean up all that build up without any damage to all of the connectors? I have thought about steam cleaning or just soap and water and a good brush but that gets down into everything. Corrosion is the last thing I need! Any suggestions to make it look nice?
Peace,
Chaz

I used some degreaser purple power diluted or the good dawn soap and a good brush.
I always pre wash it good then brush, then use the cleaner brush again then rinse.
Then do again as oil isn't easy to get off.
