Default Wheel Blasting/Painting

I have a set of Z06 replica wheels in chrome which are going to crapola in the salt environment.

Do you guys know of any shops in Corpus Christi who can blast the wheels down to their aluminum base and paint them or perhaps powder coat the wheels?

Thanks

It might be cheaper just to buy new wheels after you pay to have them powder coated which you need in your environment.
Painting them will not last very long and will look ugly soon.

Look at OE replica wheels or ebay. They are cheaper than you think.

I will have to agree with you on that one. I added up the cost to have the rims powder coated and is was not very cost effective. The other option is to have the rims blasted down to bare aluminum and maintain them from there.

Thanks

Check this place....I've bought a few wheels from here and never had any issues. Price is always right too. http://www.oewheelsllc.com/

The problem with blasting chrome plating off is the need for high psi and an aggressive media. Being on aluminum you're going to get major imperfections on the wheels and a real rough profile.
