https://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/vi/ins...nCriteria.aspx ... what year is the car?... if 96 and newer it appears that you will only need the obd2 test so you should be fine there as long as the car was tuned properly... the missing egr could technically fail a visual test but I doubt most inspectors would even notice so I wouldn't worry about that, the rest of the exhaust should be fine... it doesn't look like you will get the sniffer test unless your car is 95 and older, if that is the case it will probably fail

Yours will only get the plug-in and visual tests, no sniffer. They don't care about LT's, as long as they have all emissions hookups, cats in place (aftermarket are ok), and all your original emissions stuff has to be there. If they check, which they should, you'll fail for no EGR.

Mine used to pass with no cats, no egr, no air injection, and no rear 02 sensors. Tuners disable all of this in the tune and the inspection machine just looks for readiness status. When these things are disabled in the computer they just always say ready so the only thing that will make it fail is if the inspector actually looks for these items to be there or not. But generally they don't know what's supposed to be there and generally don't look under the car.
