Why are people installing the 6.2 823 heads on their 6.0 and 5.7 LS engines.? I mean I know about the 243/799 heads, what advantage does these heads have?
Don't beat me up over this, just been out of the scene for awhile.

They flow better, but they're not gonna drop right in because they're square port heads, need a different intake and everything else that comes with that.

Zero. not on a 5.7. they don't fit lol … but on a 6.0 they do. I don't like them on a small bore like a 6.0. intake valve shrouding
