Looking for help with T42 swap Took on a stranded build for a friend. Supposed LS3 and 4L65E with harness and ECM/TCM with unknown contents. Got car finished but the transmission is stuck in second gear. Also works in reverse. Transmission has a 13 pin green connector which says 2000-2004 4L60E. The harness is 15 pins and as near as I can tell the T42 needs an ISS signal which is missing on the 13 pin. I am told that a missing ISS usually causes a hard 1-2 shift which is not what I am seeing. I have verified 12 volts on the transmission pink wire.
Looking for for someone who can help me get this sorted. Need to understand what is in the TCM flash and whether or not it will work without swapping to a later transmission with the 15 pins and ISS signal.
I am located between Sanger and Gainesville. Willing to pay good money for a solution so the owner can enjoy his car.

As crazy as this sounds, make sure the connector is plugged in the correct way and not backwards. The arrow on the trans connector faces away from the trans to the outside of the car. The extra two pins in the 15 pin connector are for the ISS or turbine shaft sensor, found on later 60E family....... If there is not a connector on the drivers side right above the shift selector, similar to an 80E, no worries on the other 2 pins.

Well it turns out the ECM and TCM supplied by the builder were not paired. Found a label on the harness and had the harness builder sent me a paired set programmed for that harness. Shifts great now but the new tune would not idle. Then had it dyno tuned by James Karger who told me the O2 sensors are bad. Never ending story with this one...
