CAMARO owners please help. I am looking into buying an 02 Camaro Z28 NBM. it has 34k miles. It is a hard top and 6 spd. Anyhow, could you do me a favor and look at the front of your car inside the hood and underneath the front end of the car where the radiator support is and the bumper supports. It looks like it has overspray. It may or may not have been wrecked. Does yours have overspray on the metal? I am wondering if this is how they come from the factory like this. Please let me know.
you are lucky, my '02 is up on ramps right now so I could look easily.
The radiator support (metal part) is painted body color. There is absolutely no overspray anywhere on any black plastic parts. The bodies are painted, and then assembled.

I am sorry I didnt mean on the plastic pieces. The metal parts have some blue on them. They are not completely blue. Maybe that is how they are painted at the factory. Is everything that is metal on the front of your car painted the body color or does the paint fade as if they didnt paint all of the metal? Look at the bumper metal parts and the bottom of the radiator support.
my radiator mount is painted just like under the hood. Its red, but doesn't have a clear coat. They didn't clear coat our cars under the hood.
I'd just check for overspray on any black plastic panels and that wind scoop under the radiator. If there is any overspray on any plastic parts, its probably been painted.
