Insurance doesn't seem too bad considering your age and the value of your car. Anyways, good luck. I hate insurance people. You give them tons of money that is suppost to be yours, and they hassle when you need it.

Been reading here for a while, but felt like I should reply to Firehawk about those jerks...
From what I've been seeing, if you thoroughly wash the paintballs off ASAP, sometimes it will all come off fine, but unfortunately sometimes it leaves long-lasting stains and/or the impact left dings... some incident links I found:

First, sorry to hear about your car bud....vandals SUCK...at least they didn't steal it. Nice wheels BTW.
This is why my baby stays in the garage so much & I only take it out to places where I can keep it in sight....it's sad we have to worry so much about our cars getting f@rkeD up. Hell, I won't even live somewhere now unless I have a garage. But then again, I'm sort of a pack rat, lol...I got all sorts of junk to store & need all the space I can get.
Tim Lane does excellent work, I've seen his work & although you will pay for his workmanship, you won't be disapointed with the results.

I figured by parking my car as far away from the normal parking spaces at work, where cars wont leave dings on my door, would actually keep my car safe......boy was i wrong. I come out of work at around 10 and see the hood and drivers fender keyed to the metal. Fuckersssss!!!

Just can't win, eh?
I would guess that overall it's safer to park away from the crowded parts of the lot, myself... There is the issue of attracting attention for being by itself, but most of the cars owned by people at this forum would tend to attract attention no matter where they're parked.
Being in the midst of the crowd puts it at the mercy of the far-too-numerous careless people to knock with their doors, let shopping carts roll in to, etc... And any intentional vandals could do their keying etc without having to be nearly as obvious about it as walking way out to where that one car is and then walking all they way back to their own-- just casually reach out while on the way to their own, hidden from view by the surrounding vehicles...
