Some luck I have..
i was pumped up to no end about how awesome my LT headers and TSP true duals were going to be. i waited and waited untill i was done with school to get started on puttin them in. diddnt get to start sunday like i planned cause i wanted to get my car inspected wtih the stock stuff so i'll be covered for at least a year. then my helper buddy went to austin so i was stuck by myself, then
I BROKE THE DIPSTICK TUBE OFF IN MY BLOCK. come to find out there is about 2 inches left in it (whatever is below the first shoulder on the dipstick tube). maby i can lower the oilpan and yank it toward the inside,or maby i can use an ease-out, or maby i'll just plug it up and do it dirt-track style.
so now my project has gone south, i have the tranny out to diagnose some problems but i only found a few bellhousing bolts loose and my pilot bushing was hogged out about 1/4 inch extra. at least i have better access to the dipstick tube hole now. i was also going to put in a set of poly motor mounts while i had the exhaust out.
sorry for venting on your venting thread, but you arent alone in how you feel.
