If it runs strong and hasn't been ragged on/out, I say you should go for it. I have only had my car for about a month and remember searching everywhere for what I wanted. I ended up paying more than I should've for my car (from Carmax

You should buy Lynda's car for $15K and put a hood on it. Then you will have a reliable 10-second daily driver that is in like-new condition.
Pulling credit at various dealers won't hurt your credit if you end up buying a car. They really only penalize you if you do alot of credit apps and don't buy anything in that same time frame.
Also, try applying on LendingTree.com and if you are approved they send you a check that you can take to any dealership and buy whatever car you want.

Hey Joe, heres an '01 black SS with half the mileage, asking price is only $500 more than the one your looking at. Fully loaded, only thing you might not like is its an auto.

well it looks like the black ss is not happening.the dealer tryed to get me into buying a cavalier.i told them i couldnt do that. i walked out.

it was due to a income descrepancy as im told. my regular job makes enough to cover the note ,ins and still have plenty left. but my sidejobs i do are cash only and could not be proven. so they said well you could buy this
