Pulling credit at various dealers won't hurt your credit if you end up buying a car. They really only penalize you if you do alot of credit apps and don't buy anything in that same time frame.
Also, try applying on LendingTree.com and if you are approved they send you a check that you can take to any dealership and buy whatever car you want.

10k$ cavalier. itd be in your price range.. it felt like i got stabbed in the heart. i was disgusted and walked out.
