TX Members can you help I am doing a hybrid conversion with a 99' LS1 out of a Camaro SS. the problem is the motor cranks but won't start. My question is can anyone point my in the right direction of a reputable shop that might be able to help?
you are either not getting spark, or not getting fuel. does that help?
if the motor has not been apart, it SHOULD start up. pull a plug and see if it's firing, see if you have fuel pressure, see if the injectors are injecting. if all of this is happening as it should, check the wires and make sure everything is firing at the right time.

Madman at JBZ did the wiring on my 68 converions. He used my speartech harness, mated it to my painless chassis harness(which he installed). We had a few problems but he automatically fixed them. I had the same problem. it sounds like ur not getting power to ur pcm which then send power to the fuel pump and coil packs. My ignition switch was wired wrong. Can you hear the fuel pump turn on? let me know.
