I think the viper sound funny would agree on that, but the amount of head turning and amount of them out there compaired to a vette is way different. Go to any car function and I bet when the viper drives up, more people will be apt to come over and check it out than a Z06, and which it faster. Even with the new Z06, is bad, but will be expensive either way, the viper is just something I have always wanted. I guess it comes down to each his own as long as you can afford it.

Jet, I agree with you on these statements. My friend has an '04 Viper and he took me for a ride and you wouldn't believe how heads turned. But I must say, the Z06 is an awesome looking car, as well!!!

Nice escalade with 24's would be cool, just dont' know, anyone have any suggestions. If I do get something besides a sports car, I will probably either pick up a sportsbike or even think about putting together a race car, like S-10 or old fox body.

Decisions decisions,

Ps don't get me wrong the Z06 is one bad *** ride, and I love mine, but just have been thinking about doing something different and getting out of sportscars for now
You have to ask yourself , is this in my blood? Am i a true performance enthusiest?
Or are you a trophy racer?
I will drive my car untill it.
A. it rusts into a tiny grit of steel.
B. Gets ripped in half by some 16 year old girl putting on makup and driving. (still might fix it)
C. I die.
I just find it hard to part with a car that i love so much.
Sure i could have sold it and bought LS1, but that isnt me. I bought what i bought and i will beef it up untill unbeefable.
I really feel like i would be losing a part of me if i sold it.
Is the car in your heart and soul man?
Are sports cars in your heart and soul?
Thats what you need to ask yourself.
I have had so many good memories in my car.
Just my opinion however. If you have had your eyes on something else you have dreamed about, by all means go for it.

That is deep, I couldn't agree more, but I did give up one bad *** ride for the vette, and If I could change the clock, I would still have my 98 SS, I put some serious work in that thing. I spent probably more money on it than I sold it for, LOL, but that is part of the game. You win some and loose some, but I am very serious about racing, but more so in a 1/4 mile, I have had cars and have help build many LS1's. I will be still racing something no matter what it is I will own something fast. It just might be a bike. Who knows. I love the z06, it is a great car, and I will surly miss her, but I will find another car for sure, that will make up for it, maybe a CTS-V, VIPER, ect ect.

Ha ha Jeff, that is a bet, it might be a year or so, but I will have something fast again, who knows I might have gray hair by then, Tracey said she found one or two, and day by day I am getting older. LOL 31 and counting, and the years are going by quick now.

I see you got rid of the race car hu. That is cool, kind of going to miss working on and helping with your car, but o well. Maybe someday, I will get another race car together would like to dip into the 8's next time though.

Well when that house of yours is built and I will come live in the guest quarters and I can buy all the toys that I want hu. That would be cool, with me, what ya think, I could have all kinds of stuff, a truck, trailer with a race car, bike, and a boat, and all you have to do is put me up in the house LOL

I think you should keep it, unless you would like to get a cheaper car and mod the crap out of it.

When I bought my Buick, I said I'd never sell it...that's bullshit. When the time comes, it's gone, and a new project is on.

People change. Tastes change. Go with it.

FFR...I'm coming.

I quit being sentimental about cars. Every car I have is for sale for the right price. Of course, I have the luxury of not needing to give them away just to sell them. I'm sure Jet feels the same way, he has seen them come and go as well.

Its a nice ride Jet, and unless you really think you could feel okay about downgrading into something with less performance, i'd recommend you keep it. Although, if you sold it you could buy a cheap f-body nowadays and mod the hell out of it for much less per month.

Just sell it. I think you need to find a purple Geo with a rainbow sticker on the back.

Really though, sell it to Tracey. She seems to have an appreciation for the car that you dont.

I have a few interests, and still have yet to really post it up for sale, so maybe I will just take my time, and see if something pans out with some of the people that contacted me, and if not , then I will decide if I want to post it up for sale.

Thanks everyone
