10.7s tonight. Brrrr, it was kinda cold!

Since we had that nice cool front blow through Houston yesterday, I had to take advantage of the racing weather. It was about 39F out at Houston Raceway Park tonight, not sure on the DA yet. Raceweight still 3335 lbs. Nothing changed since last time except for a new pair of axle shafts.

Previous best: 10.87 @ 125.01 (1.60)

Best pass tonight:

60'=1.57
1/8=6.90
mph=101.96
1/4=10.78
mph=126.89

Two other passes tonight:

60'=1.58
1/8=6.91
mph=101.79
1/4=10.80
mph=126.60

60'=1.62
1/8=6.93
mph=101.96
1/4=10.80
mph=126.61

Nothing broke tonight, but the tranny is acting up again. 3rd/4th gear synchro is very notchy. I plan on installing the NX nitrous kit this week, maybe I can get it done by next weekend. My quest for 9s continues...

Congrats! Its so amazing to see a beautiful car move like that. Its either all show or all go, but you have the best of both worlds. That was the first time I seen it in person, but I didnt see it up close, but definately a clean looking car.

good job....what is the fix for the 3rd to 4th shifting....my car has also done that 4 times

Well, I bought this current tranny "rebuilt", but it has been shifting like crap since I installed it. Probably just a bad rebuild.

Icon will be rebuilding my spare T56 soon, and I'll put that one into the car.

I love reading about track nights when my car is trapped inside. I'm glad at least somewhere here in the US there are still guys tryin to beat their best ET's even in mid January! I'm jealous of the weather, 39 would feel like summer here for us guys

Is the woman that was driving the pewter Trans Am on drag wheels on this site? I spoke to her right before I left and she said it went 11.3 tonight. I think her Husband was with her, in a silver Z06 Vette.
