Old school project Hey guys, and gals, just picked up this old El Camino, it's a 1959, the first year of the El Camino. I'm going to start the frame off body restoration on her soon...Tell me what you think, how rare are these things, I don't see too many around? any information will help. Thanks.

I think they are neat my dad put a 348 3 dueces hard cam and 11-1 compression in a 2 door belair in 1959 car was our 6 cylinder brand new family car. Car was very fast and would handle the pontiacs which were top dog at the time. My uncle had a 60 el camino with a corvette 283 two fours and all. I like them.
