Default Good idea bad idea?

i really want to make a difference in my 99ta and i don really have too much $$$ and i was interested in a cam ....i want somethin thats aggressive and somethin that is still streetable something that will be compatible with my engine how it is now and with the mods i have.....i was thinkin on buyin the tr224/224 112lsa cam and keepin the stock heads and gettin it tuned ....good idea bad idea?????????need some feedback

you dont have long tubes?cams need to breath

about the valvetrain doesnt the ls1 cam swap pkg at thunderracing have everything u need .....i prefer package 1 cuz its the single valve spring instead of dual ....dual would be too much compression wouldn it ???........my plan is to install headers and ory then save up $ again and get the cam swap pkg

Longtubes, catback or cutout, CAI, tires, free mods, shifter, DRIVER MOD (practice makes perfect), cam, heads.... not neccesarily in that order.....

dont forget..... if you get a cam kit costs @ $400- 600 for the kit, .... you have to have it installed (unless you do it this also costs $$$) + GOT to have a tune usually 400 to 500 $$$$.... G force has a special right now........
Not cheap modding these cars

if your not going to run LT's then you might try the hot cam. With LT's that 224 is nice, good for a daily driver, don't have to worry about springs breaking as bad. I would keep the lift lower than 580.
