Hooker catback I know this is really not the place for this. But I wanted some Texas input. Has anyone heard this catback on a stock ls/1? if so what do you think. Am not a racer so am not so much worried about flow. Just want a deep throaty sound with miniamal interior noise. Without having to hock my first born.

I have it - and for a while it was the only mod that i had. I didnt like it - wasn't loud enough for me, then again - before the SS I had a 99 t/a with loudmouth on it..so anything was quiet to me after that.
It has a good sound/tone and isn't too loud on the inside. i got mine for about $200. Might also wanna try corsa - if you don't want it too loud but have a nice sound

The Hooker is really nice. Minimal interior resonance, and a healthy rumble when at idle. I have one on my car (lots of mods) and my wife has one on her car (lid and Catback only.)
Since you live in Mansfiled, if you want, you could come by and hear wife's car. We live in SW Arlington, just off Green Oaks.
Price on these is quite cheap, a lot of the sponsors sell them. We both got ours from Thunder Racing. Great deal and cheap shipping.
